Arkansas INBRE Core Facility Voucher Program

Our voucher program is designed to provide faculty at the PUIs access to the Core Facilities at the lead institutions for both research and teaching.

Annual due dates: By 5 pm on May 1, Sept 1, and January 1.

We offer three voucher opportunities to assist in obtaining paid access to UAMS and UAF Core Facilities.

Voucher opportunities:

  1. Faculty Research Vouchers: Research-focused awards of up to $7,500 each are available to research-based PUI faculty at Arkansas INBRE institutions. All faculty performing research within the mission of the Arkansas INBRE (biomedical) at Arkansas INBRE participating institutions are eligible to apply.
  2. Student Research Vouchers: Undergraduate student awards of up to $750 are available to support novel ideas presented by students performing research within the mission of the Arkansas INBRE at PUIs. All undergraduate students performing research at Arkansas INBRE participating institutions are eligible to apply.
  3. Faculty Curriculum Vouchers: Curriculum-focused awards of up to $750 are available to PUI faculty to support projects that are not necessarily research-based but involve collecting cutting-edge data for use in the classroom. All faculty at at Arkansas INBRE participating institutions are eligible to apply.

How to apply: An official quote from the Core Facility will be required for each application. Please contact Dr. Tackett for a quote, prior to applying for a voucher. Applications are reviewed within two weeks of the due date.
