Arkansas INBRE Core Facility Voucher Program
Our voucher program is designed to provide faculty at the predominantly undergraduate institutions access to the Core Facilities at the lead institutions for both research and teaching.
Annual due dates:
By 5 pm on May 1, Sept 1, and January 1.
We offer three voucher opportunities to assist in obtaining paid access to UAMS and UAF Core Facilities.
Faculty Research Core Facility Vouchers: Research-focused awards of up to $5,000 each are available to research-based PUI faculty at partner and affiliate Arkansas INBRE institutions. All faculty performing research within the mission of the Arkansas INBRE (biomedical) at partner and affiliate institutions are eligible to apply. We anticipate a range of monetary requests that will not necessarily amount to $5,000 each.
Student Research Core Facility Vouchers: Undergraduate student awards of up to $500 are available to support novel ideas presented by students performing research within the mission of the Arkansas INBRE at PUIs. All undergraduate students performing research at partner and affiliate Arkansas INBRE institutions will be eligible to apply.
Faculty Curriculum Core Facility Vouchers: Curriculum-focused awards of up to $500 are available to PUI faculty to support projects that are not necessarily research-based but involve collecting cutting-edge data for use in the classroom. All faculty at partner and affiliate Arkansas INBRE institutions will be eligible to apply.
How to apply: An official quote from the Core Facility will be required for each application (please contact Dr. Tackett prior to applying to obtain quotes). Applications will be reviewed within two weeks of the due date.
