Research Seminar Funding

If you are interested in hosting a seminar speaker  please provide us with the following information using this link:

  1. Proposed dates of visit.
  2. Name, home institution and CV of the speaker.
  3. Explanation as to how the person you are inviting will enhance your research.
  4. Who will be meeting with the speaker.
  5. Where the seminar will be held.
  6. A proposed budget, including, at a minimum, estimated flight costs, hotel costs, per diem and honorarium.  Please refer to all federal per-diem rates and regulations.

Proposals will be approved as received, and awarded on a first come basis. Please submit your application prior to making any travel arrangements for the visitor.

We ask that you invite and notify all INBRE participants along with the science faculty and students at your institution, and that you submit a short report noting who attended the seminar, along with a detail invoice for reimbursement.

*Funding Announcements are contingent upon the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences receiving an award from the National Institutes of Health with adequate funding for each program component.
