  2. Copy of official transcript(s)

UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  PLEASE PLAN EARLY TO HAVE YOUR TRANSCRIPTS SENT SO THAT THEY ARRIVE TO OUR OFFICE BY THE  APPLICATION DUE DATE. 

  1. Two (2) signed letters of recommendation from faculty at your institution. Students are responsible for requesting letters from their professors for the recommendation letters and to provide the address below to the faculty writing the letters.   We do not contact faculty on your behalf.  Both letters need to be received on time to complete your application.

Letters of recommendation should be addressed to Dr. Larry Cornett and mailed to:

Electronic letters of recommendation must be signed PDF copies emailed from your professor’s email address to dmckinstry@uams.edu.

PLEASE NOTE:

Undergraduate students attending the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville are to identify mentors at an institution other than their home campus.

Every effort will be made to match students with mentors of their choice, however there are circumstances when this is not possible.

The demands of summer classes have been shown to negatively impact summer research programs, consequently students wanting or needing to take summer classes should not apply.
